JV Championship moved to Saturday afternoon, 5pm still at Dixie HS.

BW was trying to save Wilder for Cov Cath. He pitched a 6-0 shut out against them 3 weeks ago.... but in a game like that, against Conner, you can't leave horses in the stable.

This game was a treat. Conner tied it up in the bottom of the 7th and both teams went scoreless for the next 4 innings thanks in part to two of the best JV pitching performances that I've seen this year. Noah Litke (CHS) came in relief in the 5 and went the distance. Jairus Wilder came in relief for BW in about the 4 or 5th and hit the pitch count limit with the last batter in the 12th. Then Tyler Wagner closed it out. Both catchers were phenomenal. This was a game of momentum shifts and great defensive plays to get out of innings. BW will play Cov Cath tomorrow at Dixie HS, 7PM for the Championship.

Beechwood plays Conner at St. Henry, 5PM. Not sure on the other game.

Boone won over Dixie 5-4.

Beechwood beat Holy Cross 10-3. Next they play Campbell Co, Wednesday at 7pm.... at Campbell Co.

Beechwood defeated Scott 7-2. This was played at Scott.

You may be right. The Freshmen and JV tournaments must be done by Saturday evening.... well really Sunday, but some school are forbidden to play on Sundays. Freshmen is on round 2 and JV starts tonight. It is going to be tough.

There are a lot of good young players to watch for the JV Tigers.... in this particular game Jairus Wilder, Harrison Heist and Nick Jackman had very good games. Wilder is playing very good baseball right now. They are all sophomores and should fill some of the holes next year when the great senior class moves on. Most of the freshmen from the jv team were called down to the freshmen tourney game.

Jackman pitched 4, Wilder 2 and Schlinger 1 for the Tigers. Juett pitched 5 for Highlands and I don't have the relief pitchers name.

Love the season Rowe is having, but have to go with Ethan Stringer.

No. Purnell played 3rd. Not sure of the boys name that pitched for BC but he looked very poised. Ran out of gas late.

I agree. BC pitcher threw really good. He led on the count on probably 80% of the hitters he faced. Threw a lot of 1st pitch curves for strikes. It was very apparent he was running out of gas. Throwing curves 3 out of 4 pitches will do that. Name of that boy?
