I am just aggravating on the previous posts..............but a serious question(s).....how and why? How can she go to another school...change of address? Why would she leave for her senior year?

I agree with you 100% on the Bolus rankings....I think he does them from names he hears on this board. But I thought Sacred Heart lost their 2 players (Ruffin and Merriweather) from last year and would be heavily depending on their incoming freshmen and sophomores for their success? Would not be the first time the DQ posse was overzealously wrong.....but they were pretty sure. I am dropping out of conversation until it is made official. For whoever it is, I hope they find out soon......for their sake and the kids sake.

I am hearing that is indeed Don Rice to take over at South Oldham and could be announced today or tomorrow.

Info pipeline has dried up at South Oldham.....who are the finalists (besides Rice)? any timeframe for the hire? If they want to keep it secret, they are doing a pretty good job!!!

My list would look something like this---- 1. SK---transfers plus returners 2. Shelby---good size, team speed may be their downfall 3. WV---rebuilding close, but maybe not at level of top 2??? 4. Anderson---lost 2 studs, but are still going to play hard and have some shooters 5. Gallatin---probably have the best player in region, lots of double teams expected 6. Trimble---good size, team speed lacking? ball handling may be suspect early 7. Grant---sleeper to sneak up on some people even after losing transfer 8. Carroll---middle of the pack 9. Williamstown---middle of the pack 10. Collins---could probably switch spots with 8 or 9 11. Oldham---where is scoring going to come from after losing mcmurtry 12. South Oldham---rebuilding time---without a coach? 13. Owen---will be better 14. Henry---rumor has it that best player may not be playing 15. North Oldham---still young, improved last year 16. Spencer---where is scoring coming from? loss of Meyers 17. Eminence---struggle continues Some of these could move up or down a couple of spots. Tear it apart with lists of your own....:banghead:

Anything new? Conversation at the DQ had switched to fishing and the "monsters" they are catching. I am sure the fish grew considerably from when they were pulled from the lake until they were discussed at the old men's gathering.

Over my biscuits and gravy and my daily old man's meeting this morning, my buddy swears that Rice is a finalist at South. I don't know if he has inside info or not, I have not heard anything from anyone else. Surely they will do something soon, it's mid-July???

My info on the Shelby job was good......but understand the following info was spewed at an old man's meeting at the DQ. Someone said Don Rice (from CAL) was a finalist.

I know nothing about who South Oldham is getting........Shelby is announcing at 5:00 today according to their local paper. I was in a gym last night and heard what I would consider a big name. Name I heard---the last initial was H. I will know if the gym "rumors" were true in about 12 minutes.:sssh:

My buddies and I joke about it.......if a kid wears a sleeve, they must be pretty good. Our favorites are the young and/or skinny kids that wear one that is too big for them. Looks like they are wearing a big, baggy sock on their arm.:lol:
