I'm sure has turned down many offers from the larger programs in the nation.....just have a whole lot of respect for this guy and what he has accomplished at Belmont over the years

The best coach's in the nation take mediocre high school talent and win with them.....just as Byrd has done for the last 20 years.....anyone can coach all-americans that are already talent based....big false analogy on these coach's with talent running out of there gym's....lots of coaches doing a better job than the one's being talked about the most on this thread

Byrd from Belmont could take the talent of the top 5 teams in the nation and make fun of everyone else....by far the best coach in the nation

Until they play anyone West of Clark Co. in tourney......athletic teams with speed and quickness melt them down and make Justice throw up a bunch of bad shots with pressure....like the state tourney game last season

Program in need of leadership....not getting that with a 23 yr. old head coach with no experience...

You never, ever do that in a state tourney game or any other tourney you are interested in winning with a single elimination format.......
