  1. I expect Grant County to be an underdog this upcoming season. They lose Thompson, Kinmon, and Livingood. However they return Wartman, Davis, and Loomis, which all three have started for Grant. They have some shoes to fill, especially in the guard position...Jalen Kinmon who will be a sophomore and plays the guard spot, will do exceptionally well after seeing him play during summer ball. I think it would be unwise to underestimate the Braves.
  2. I agree. Grant will defiantly be the underdog. Losing Kinmon and Thompson-their leading scorers-Wartman, Davis, and Loomis will all have to step up. I expect to see Jalen Kinmon ( little brother of Caleb Kinmon) to step up big time. He will be a sophomore but expect GREAT things out of this young man. Also they have Josh Blackburn, who is a fine young player, Robbie Kohler, who has shown tremendous improvements this summer. I expect Grant to have a winning record. Not as good as last year, but i believe we will see them fighting for that district championship they should of won (upsetting loss) last year.
  3. From a students perspective...well:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa :banana::banana::banana::banana::popcorn::popcorn::popcorn::clap::clap::clap::ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper::D:D:D:D:taz::taz::clap::clap::dancingpa:dancingpa:banana:
  4. Anderson rebounds the ball well. They are thick and have height. When they want the ball....they'll get it.
  5. More kids than you think are held back a year specifically for sports in general.
  6. Grant played terrible the first half. Then at 4 minutes to go in the 4th quarter when they're down by 10 they realize they're gonna lose and they actually start playing with heart and emotion and make it go into overtime. Sad to see the Braves end their season like this to a team they should of beat. It's been fun wathing Kody Thompson, who has had a wonderful high school career, Caleb Kinmon, which he has improved alot this past year and stepped up on numerous ocastions, Jarred Livingood, who handled the ball well, and Sean Henry as well. Good luck to The Braves next year and Good luck to Owen County.
  7. Let's just hope if SK gets to a championship game, its not a 42-0 blowout....
  8. I missed the South and North game. Would of loved to watch it. Do you know if Kraemer will be playing in the tournament? Who do you have coming out of the top bracket Colonel?
  9. I agree with you. SK is a well coached team and they are very capable of beating the defending 8th region champs! Good luck to SK.
  10. The game is the first 8th region game at Henry County on wednesday at 6:30. Last time these teams have played, Grant came out on top. Any thoughts?
  11. Easily? I have to disagree, I think Shelby and South Oldham would give a good fight. However, South would have to be shooting the ball well.
  12. I'll take Grant by 8 in a low scoring game. Defense will win this game.
  13. These are all pretty evenly matched draws! Should be very fun to watch!:popcorn:
  14. Okay weakside, how would you so elegantly describe him?
  15. Yeah...the kid is. If you have ever seen him play, you would know he plays his hardest every game, goes after loose balls, and just cares about winning. So yes a warrior is the best way to put it.
  16. This will be a VERY interesting region tournament to watch!!
  17. I think Grant County has more depth coming off the bench which will be a major factor in the game. Wartman has been coming off the bench as well as Adam Prince and Sean Henry. I'll take Grant by 8+.
  18. It either should of been Sandlin or Coldiron from the 8th.
  19. Good job Owen County. Glad they're going to region. IMO this team will pull a few upsets!
