Contacts happen all the time in high school, the only difference is that the pool is usually smaller. Just look at how many jobs have opened up lately and have not been posted on the KDE or KHSAA site. Believe me, even when some are posted it is just a formality.

Really? I believe that their 8th grade team had the first winning season in school history. Some of those girls played on the varsity team this year. Small steps but strps forward nonetheless.

West is going to need some time. Their feeder system was null and void. You had several classes to never win a game until high school.

I have worked with Coach Kelley in the past and he is all that high school coaches should be. He cares for the kids, mentors and provides for them, he teaches and prepares his kids for every game. To many administrators "clean house" to satisfy the needs of the few, when I know a lot of kids that couldn't of made it and won't without him.

Apples and oranges, I would take any of them on a team, thats why their teams are at Rupp this week. Polson is a special player to watch. I agree with the supporting cast remark earlier but him making them better defines Jarrod. I will like to see him play on a bigger floor he will be that much more hard to guard.

I understand that Fayette Co. has issues as far as their closed middle school programs but if a coach really wanted to build their feeder programs, what is to stop them from holding camps and developing an AAU program for each age level?
