  1. It's hard for me to see anybody leaving a school to come to GC which has only 3 Seniors coming back with Varisty experience. I know they have a bunch of Juniors but the first year is going to rough.
  2. The last time GC has had a decent weightlifting program was '02 and '03! All Coach Maynard's teams were strong.
  3. Tyler Farley is going to be a stud. The other to should be wideouts and they will do great things as well. The Fairview playoff game when he came in was awesome.
  4. I also to don't think it's appropriate. It should have been in december. But I would just like to see them move forward.
  5. Craft is being a team player. I say that because he's playing the 3 and 4 postion, when he should be playing the 1 and 2 spot. Plus with coming off the bench. That's called being coachable. But I think it's costing them ballgames because they have "NO GUARDS"!
  6. For football players it should be 4days a week. But 3days is okay for growth if your doing a productive workout and doing it right. Also for the first month back it's good to have that extra rest. I'm suprised that they're just down to 2 coach's now.
  7. How many have they interviewed?
  8. Any updates with hiring a coach?
  9. I guess 3-7 sounds good to them! I can tell a diffence in today football players than, when I played 6years ago. You could go to fitness world and see Russell, Raceland, Greenup County football players hitting it hard on their days off. Same at the YMCA with Ashland, Boyd County and Fairview football players. Where did they go?
  10. I agree! But I look for the Rams to be at least 8-2. I look forward to them matching their record last season. Ashland and LCA are the only two games I worry about.
  11. I would say the big men are "frustrated" because they have no guards to get them the ball!lol
  12. Any update's on the winter weightlifting?
  13. Some people are better assistant coach's, player's and some are better coach's than they were player's. GC has to find the coach for them.
  14. This is awesome idea! It's great for the player's. I wish they had this when I played.
  15. The players has just as much to do with a winning program, as a coach does. Just ask people from West Portsmouth about the 2002 team. West could have played without a coach and done the same! Having success with one team doesn't mean you're a good coach.
  16. To much inside game for Raceland! But Raceland has the guards.
  17. Anything on combining the two middle school football programs?
  18. GC doesn't have the guards to pull off the upset, but It'll be a close game. West by 8.
  19. The other are two are sophmore's that's what I meant about being young.
  20. Greenup County has one of the better front line in the 16th Region with Hampton, Baker and Williams. But they're young. They're in need of some guards. If they did have some guards they would have 2 or 3 more wins right now.
  21. Only ''FOUR'' applications! I hope they least consider Jay Krebs then. That's if he put in for it again.
  22. If they hire a coach by end of the month that puts him only a month in the weightroom before "Spring Ball". The big things in spring is ''NUMBERS", Hustling/fun and Offense/Defense basics. Does anybody know how many paid coach's they're going to have? 4 to 5 would be great with 2 Volunteer's.
