This is a great hire. You can't look at what he did at North. He had no talent and played the hardest schedule in the state. He didn't just learn how to coach after being at Rockcastle. I know for a fact he taught some people at Rockcastle a few things. He was a grad assistant at EKU under Jack Isom, and DC for Glen Polly at Laurel Co. If I am not mistaken they were ranked number one in the state at one time. Don't judge a great coach because of one year as DC at South. He didn't start coaching until late summer. It takes some time to analyze your talent. If everyone thinks this is such a bad hire, would you like to place a bet on the North vs. South game next year?

Brown that used to be an assistant at South is there now too. Jeff Carlberg is the DC at Lassiter. The WR coach is also from Kentucky but his name just left me.

So are there going to be 2 quality coaches there now?

What assistants have you heard that are having a hard time getting jobs at North? Why doesn't Laurel County take athletics seriously?

The teaching salary for Campbellsville independent schools is pretty good though.

Campbellsville is a good paying school system. I imagine the coaching stipend is pretty good too.

What is a realistic goal for wins next year at NL? What do the fans expect as far as wins?

I think Moe Spradlin scored on the belly. Then for the two point play SC tried to run a clearout for Delong and Reagan picked it off.
