What happened to Humpries?

I don't have official stats but I believe Burns only had 4 to 6 points. Most of their scoring was by # 42 and # 15 from the 3 point line. Justin Webb had 19 points for Trimble. :clap: Josh Edington, Dylan Staples, Zach Adair, Craig Ward, Ethan Turner, and Skiler Alexander all scored but I don't know how many each. I don't think I've left anyone out but I could have.

Walton Verona led one time in the second half by one point. Ponzer did play the first half as did Burns.

Give the Trimble Co. players some credit! They really played as a team, also one of their starters that was averaging at least 10 points a game quit the team this week. The players really stepped up in this game. Does anyone have the stats?

Trimble County is a much improved team. If they can get their guards more involved it will make a huge difference for them. Webb and Green have been consistent all season but we need a couple of more players to step up. These are a great group of kids. :thumb::thumb:

We lost because of the outside shooting not because of the INSIDE play. Give the Trimble Co. Big man some credit!:ohbrother:

I believe Williams had 6 points -4 fouls & Shelton had ZERO points and 3-4 fouls! Owen Co. won but they did not dominate inside. Webb for Trimble County did.

I agree. The bigs DID contribute. Owens guards couldn't get a shot in to them alot of the game. But like you say, with Owens strong guard inventory, opponents will have to pay for trapping the bigs like that. I think Blake Lewis had 12 points in 3 point shooting in first quarter. The remainder of the game he had his own box and chaser and still managed to pop off two more by the end of the game - leaving his stats 6 for 8 from the 3 point line. Those stats were released this morning. However, not knowing the stat situation on the other three that shot 3 pointers - Kyle Kelly had two 3 pointers, Lucas Shelton had a 3 pointer, and Stone Osborne had a 3 pointer. Owens guard inventory is not a dismal as their opponents would like to believe. Having a "missing man" formation due to double teaming will prove to be problematic for Owen's opponents. They were sure hitting the three's last night. :ohbrother:

Trimble didn't have an answer for the 3 point shooting. Shelton & Williams were a were a non factor in this game. I think Colligan did contributed a little more. Trimble Co. had the edge inside. Owen led by 20+ points at one point and Trimble would rally back to within 8 points before halftime, but could not overcome the overcome the 3 point shooting of Owen. Great effort by the young Trimble County squad.:thumb:

Gallatin Co. by 25 points. I agree it will be an ugly game.

Henry County lost 3 or 4 of their main players. They return Connor Jeffries , ???? Gray, and Trevor Raisor. Plus they have to adjust to a new coach.

Our team is a young team. If you remember we lost all five starters last year. To lose to a veteran team by 29 points is nothing to be ashamed of. I'm proud of our boys for the effort and the "class" they show, even while losing.

What Zac Jones said wasn't that far out of line but Carlton's comment was hateful. You believe what you want. I'm done with this, my opinion has been voiced.

My son plays for Trimble County and I believe what he told me. I know exactly where the Gallatin player sat because it was behind me and I know what time they left. I'm not downing the Gallatin Co. players I know they are talented but sometimes the less said the better.

Actually it was Bryce Carlton and Zach Jones, although Jones wasn't as bad as Carlton.

This is a rebuilding year for Trimble County. They have several inexperienced players. They looked pretty impressive for such a young team.

Some of the Gallatin Co. players were at the Trimble/Carroll game tonight. Trimble lost by 5 to Carroll Co. As the Trimble Co. players were heading to the locker room after the game, the Gallatin Co. players started running their mouths to the Trimble Co. players about their loss. Gallatin County may have more talented players but they will never be a class act until they can learn to present themselves as one. Gallatin Co's coach needs to teach them a lesson about behavior!

If Bradley can learn some self discipline and keep his emotions under control I believe he will be a good player. I never saw his brother play but I've heard he was a really good player.
