  1. My understanding is they get him back this week.
  2. Anderson Co. coaches need to do several things. Tackling drills come to mind.
  3. Ugly, ugly game. Could have gone either way. Both teams really need to clean up the turnovers.
  4. Sloppy game. Both teams turning the ball over. I think both teams have turned it over 4 times. AC seems to have some momentum going into half. We'll see. They get the ball to start the second half.
  5. Just asking, is anything this poster said untrue? Anderson Co. hasn't had the best competition so far this year with the exception of Boyle Co. and we all know how that turned out. Franklin Co. hasn't faced the best competition so far this season either. Let's not act like they've beat top tier teams. I think it will be a good game like it always is.
  6. Yes sir. Last year it was an 8-6 game in AC favor. It was a very good game to watch.
  7. I think Coach Peach should have done the same with the AC JV.
  8. G No sarcasm on my part whatsoever. As I said, I have all the respect in the world for Coach Smith and Boyle Co. I asked a question, if you don't like the way I asked it, I can't help that. Again, good luck to Boyle Co. the rest of the season.
  9. What is in bold is, quite frankly, unnecessary. I have all the respect in the world for Coach Smith and Boyle Co. I simply asked a question about playing tougher teams. I don't know if you have ever coached football but when you cruise to every victory easily in the regular season, it does nothing to help prepare your team for the playoffs. Most coaches would rather have competitive games to help their teams. That's all I'm saying. Good luck to Boyle the rest of the way.
  10. Play the Scott Co.'s, Trinity's, Elder's etc. Challenge yourself with the best as Highlands does. I think if you are clearly that much better than your class, it does nothing to grow you as a player and a team to play these types of games every week. No adversity, no challenge.
  11. I agree that they totally dominated Anderson Co. With that said, should Boyle be playing up in class as Highlands is?
  12. This never was a game. Coach Buchanan will get Mercer turned around. It will just take him a couple of years. Scheduling by the previous coach sure hasn't helped them. Anderson Co. has a huge test against Boyle Co. this coming week. Should be a good game.
  13. Game called due to lightning at end of 3rd. AC 55-14. Final.
  14. 55-14 2:19 left in 3rd.
  15. 48-14 AC. This could get really ugly. Wondering when AC is going to the JV.
  16. 34-14 MC returns KO for TD.
  17. 34-7 @ half. Passing and running both working for AC. Lost Ryan Martin in the 1st Qtr. Stinger most likely. They carted him off for precaution. Mercer has dropped several passes. Running game is near non existent. Mercer has several athletes but they are just missing something. Secondary has been beat all night by AC receivers.
  18. 34-7 AC 1:10 until half.
  19. 30. Warming up getting ready to start back.
  20. 21-7 AC @ 9:12 2nd Qtr. get this, lightning delay. No storms within 40 miles of here.
