I get this reaction but it's the reaction from someone who has never been on the floor. At that point in the game that official is looking for fouls and is not looking down at the feet. The outside official will watch for that and he did. It shows the value of a 3-man crew.

Travel is really simple rule. If you lift your pivot foot and then put it back on the floor before passing or shooting the ball it's a violation.

Tonight's 9th region finals loss to Cooper brought an end to a high school career that we do not see very often in NKY. 2 trips to Rupp Arena. 1 state title. 4 trips to the region finals All-time scorer at CCH 4-year starter at place that doesn't do that very often About 2600+ points in his career including his 8th grade year at VMA. Multiple all-state awards 9th region POY Too many clutch plays to list All of that pales to the quality of a kid that he is. I'll miss seeing him on the floor and miss watching him compete. Heckuva run, CVH.

Kunkel was outstanding. Difference in the game but each kid made plays. Huge 3 by Dante to end the 3rd. Sean with a miss and then a steal for a bucket as well as a huge 3 early after a big run by CCH to start the game. Big 3s by Runion as well. Congrats to Sully , the staff, and the boys. They can make a run.

Nice returning group. Challenge is there's only one solid outside shooter there in the 3 guards. Luken can shoot. I like Luken's game. I'd encourage him to tighten up the body a bit because I wouldn't want his minutes limited due to conditioning. He can be the #2 weapon for NCC next year if he stays on the floor. McDaniel can be a nice offensive option as well. They'll be a good team as always. Good team. Good coach.

No surprise it's these two teams. Two teams that focus first on D but also can score. Nice combo. You cannot focus on any one player on either team. You better be good at Help D. You better close out well on shooters. You better rebound. I'm looking forward to this one just to see strategies employed by both staffs.
