KOB in 2015

The NFHS, National Federation of High Schools inly recognize ONE organization per state and in Kentucky that is the KHSAA. It states in our King of the Bluegrass Official Contrat that "You must be a member of the NFHS". That's why we can't have schools like Huntington Prep, where the players attend St. Joseph High School, and Oak Hill. These schools can play in Kentucky if they play each other but they can't play KHSAA members.

I bet the coach wasn't from Fairdale….we haven't discussed it. I apologize for one thing. You probably meant Ethan Snapp not Fairdale's Ethan.

You people amaze me (Lloyd Gardner). I have NO idea who is playing who at this time. I haven't even talked to coach Hicks about this. How does Ethan come into this? THIS WILL NEVER BE A FACTOR WHEN WE CHOOSE WHO FAIRDALE PLAYS. Where do you come up with such info. I don't have enough time to think about this…I have the King of the Bluegrass Holiday Classic to worry about.

David Hicks. David was a 1993 Fairdale graduate. He was the head baseball coach and has been an assistant basketball coach under both Lloyd Gardner and Gregg Longacre. He came up under the system and we have a lot of confidence in his ability to lead the Bulldogs.

Ethan will be playing in the King of the Bluegrass Showcase on January 30, 2015 at Fairdale H. S. Different teams and games on the 31st

Eastern ('96/'97) won the King of the Bluegrass but lost in the LIT. Fairdale is the ONLY team to win the King of the Bluegrass, LIT and Swet Sixteen "89/'90 and '93/'94. (Remember the KOB is in December and the Sweet Sixteen is in March)

Brown and Morris were both leftys…Turner was not. Rayshawn Morris, 94 MVP was also a lefty.

Carlos Turner had a great career at Coffeyville Junior Colleg and Jesuit College. Carlos scored 17 consecutive points in the Championship game when Morris and Brown were on the bench. He is do great today…graduated, has a leadership job in Ohio near Dayton. I may be the only person that know the "real story" and it's not what people think. I will say no more. Terry Jenkins (90) signed FB with UL, Tony Wheat (90) BB at Murray. Tyran Scroggins (90) FB UL, (Central HS FB coach 3 State championships),Timmy Comstock (91) FB AT WKU, Jeff Thompson (91) BB St. Catherine, Chris Kelso (93) FB UL, Leland Taylor FB UL and NFL, David Hicks (93) Baseball ?, Jason Gardner (91) manager UL BB. Rayshawn Morris (94) 94 - State Tournament MVP - Sullivan College National Champions - All Tournament. Every athlete got a scholarship in some sport.

Unfortunately they will not be in the King of the Bluegrass this year. They are going to the City of Palms this year and the dates are the same week as the KOB.
