  1. Roenker (HC) IMO will be the best pitcher in NKY this year. Followed closely by Isler (Cov Cath), Shuttleworth (Conner) , Connor (NCC), and Smith (Beechwood)...
  2. WOW is this the worst beating in the history of this rivalry? This is just one example that says NKY is down this year...
  3. Campbell does have some talent this year, but you must actually bleed purple and yellow not to be suprised by final score. No way should this have been so lopsided.
  4. Agreed. Dockery and Pugh can be a load but appearently the coaches just don't think so. It's very suprising how Pugh totaled a good number of yards on a large number of carries as a sophomore, but might touch the ball 5-10 times a game this year? Maybe they'll make some changes this week and utilize the I formation once or twice this friday.
  5. Highlands vs Cov Cath was the first that came to my mind. Then I'd say Ryle vs Boone, also a good rivalry.
  6. I know Cooper has either 6 or 7 seniors, I'm just not sure if it's 6 or 7 :sssh::lol:
  7. If Conner can hold Boone's running back they will win, other then him Boone doesn't have much going for them this year. On the other hand, I'm sure that Conner can hold him. Conner- 24 Boone- 13
  8. Colerain, OH- 7 NCC- 5 SK- 3 Holy Cross- 2 Carroll County- 1 Most Points- NCC
  9. Henry Clay Scott County Mercer County NCC Breathitt County
  10. Conner played well tonight and had many bright points throughout the game. The defense looked pretty solid allowing few first downs and likely no more then 60 yards of total offense. The cougars defensine line will likely give most opposing offensive lines trouble this year as they are quick at the end position and very, very sturdy at defenseive tackle. The conner qb's also ran the option well and Nick west had a nice game throwing the ball also. West looked alot more comfortable in the pocket then last year and connected on most of his throws. Senior Scooter Englemon had a quite a few nice kick & punt returns tonight also. Nice to see Conner off to a good start, hopefully they keep their momentum and are ready for the "real" season opener against Simon Kenton.
  11. Lokesak, Brake, and Pugh will all have a shot at POY this year.
  12. Shuttleworth, samad, hubbard, and thomas noll will all return to conner with a season of varsity experience, as well as josh atanovich coming out of the bullpen. I've also heard from coah sanders himself that jones will be returning next year.
  13. 1. Cov Cath- clear favorite 2. Conner- lost only 2 seniors who had an impact and will reload with more quality pitchers then last year 3. New Cath- lose some seniors but still have quite a few key players from their 9th title team 4. Holy Cross- Return 9 seniors including potential POY Roenker 5. Bellevue- Return most of their key players from this past years cinderella season
  14. Will they have a team competing at the varsity level in the 08-09 season?
  15. Does anyone know about their basketball team situation?
  16. I agree to an extent. Each team should atleast be represented by a one player minimum. Teams who make it further in the postseason should be given more roster spots then those eliminated early on.
  17. With all fairness I am by no means a Cov Cath fan, and indeed I do enjoy watching them get beat up on, but with Beechwood and Conner elimanted I think they definately have the upper hand...
  18. That is throughout his career not just this season. Actually this season may have been his closest to mediocure (sp?) of his career.
