Dixie has a ways to go, especially on offense. Defense did a better job in the 2nd half. Lots of 1st year varsity players that were welcomed to varsity football tonight, but they will get better and the coaching staff will bring them along and they will play better as the season progresses.

What other players will play a role for Scott this year besides Tibbs and Benzinger?

IMO Campbell Co. should be solid this year. 3 starters graduated, but Kitchen and Bowling are back to lead the way. Briana Peters really came on late last year and should be a force on the inside. Stephanie Marino was inconsistent off the bench offensively last year, but if she provides steady play and the new varsity point guard, Taylor Griffin handles her job well, then the Lady Camels will have a solid first 5. The biggest issue could be the bench. There are several seniors who can contribute off the bench if they are willing to accept that role. With the exception of Anne Marie Dumaine, there is little underclassmen help due to a lack of much young talent in the program over the last 2 years. Time will tell. Brossart graduated their leader, their point guard, IMO, but they have a lot of underclassmen talent returning. With what Scott has returning, it should be a fun district to watch.

There were like 40 some teams at the camp from West Virginia, Tennesee, Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, and a team from Alabama. Good competition. There were a few Northern Kentucky schools. Conner and Villa Madonna looked pretty good and I believe Campbell Co. only lost one game all week.

Has anyone been hired yet?

Wasn't Dixie and Campbell Co. at this camp? How did they look?

What about other teams like Bracken Co.,Paris, Brossart, Mason Co. and Campbell Co.? Some of these teams have a lot returning.
