No possible way that Marshall comes close to beating Tilghman. It will be Graves v Tilghman in the finals....and that game will be a toss up.

Just got home from the game. As stated by Voice of Reason, the game was won at the line of scrimmage. Mayfield moved the ball at will, and Beechwood struggled. I will say that the hit that Jackson (#9) put on the Beechwood punter on the fake punt was one of the BIG plays of the game. I've got a feeling we will be playing this one again next year at the Tigers' house.

Mayfield played in the state semis every year except one (1980) from 1976 to 1996. As for Friday night, I believe the cardinals will win this one by at least 2 touchdowns.

Amazing...with 4 minutes left in the first quarter is when Mayfield ran their first offensive play...yet, by the end of the quarter, the score was 27-0.

Game was over very early as Mayfield lead 43-0 at the end of the 1st, and they were up 64-0 at the half. Caverna had no business being in the playoffs...no disrespect intended.

This game was played in a torrential downpour... Mayfield turned it over deep their own territory twice and Caldwell Co. scored both times. Caldwell took care of the ball in this mess MUCH better than Mayfield did. Hats off to the tigers who played in the second half like they wanted it more than the cardinals did.
