That District final may have put a bit of fire in the belly of the Holmes team. They were ready to leave it on the court. I agree with whomever said it, probably their best game of the season which is how you want your team to play when it is elimination time.

Ranked 3rd in state can only be a great season, just a bad ending. Holmes is no slouch for gosh sakes.

Reading the 9th Region threads with the 16th, you would think there were no refs there, not even a mention which is a good thing.

Skip the All A and put some meat in that schedule. Looking back there really has not been any competition since Feb other than Holmes.

BGP corner was alive tonight with members. Nice to meet everyone. Nice to see two competitive games, I wasn't expecting the entertainment value of that $8 ticket to be so high.

Impressive win by Holmes, as usual my prediction wasn't even close. As for NCC, will miss those seniors. Clearly everyone wants to win but the NCC team really took the loss hard. Best of luck to those departing.

My predictions are always wrong so here you go. It seems to be a mismatch. NCC should win easily. I do hope for a competitive game.

In the final analysis the 9th Region powers love the BOKC. Financially it is huge. Don't look for any changes in the future.

I have heard stories about someone trying to consolidate catholic schools prior to NCC being built and they just couldn't get the idea off the ground. Can you imagine one large Catholic school in NKY instead of what we have. Now that would be a powerhouse.

Never met a kid that didn't love playing at the BOKC. Atmosphere or not.
