Turnover Corbin as Smith and Farmer apply pressure and force a travel. 6:07 left in Q3, Corbin by 10.

CC's Ryan House gets the steal, the hoop, and the harm is committed by Hopper. House converts the third and the Corbin lead is cut to 10.

Smith misses the FT long and then misses the next as well. Really feel for him because he's soooo talented.

CC misses a 3, Smith gets the board and goes up but is fouled. He'll be at the line.

Maguet for 2 and the lead is 13.

Smith misses both. Corbin rebounds, misses a floater and House rebounds but turns it over in transition and it's back to Corbin. 24-13, Hounds lead with 7:20 left in Q3.

Blake Smith goes on the attack, misses and gets his board, goes back up and draws #2 on Maguet. Hopefully he'll see it go through the net at the line and get in a groove.

2nd Half set to begin. CC will inbound.

Also, something to keep in mind, there will be some late trips and early mornings with school on Monday and Tuesday and only Sunday to recover from their battles on Saturday. With as many games as are scheduled (boys and girl's first round all day tomorrow), you can't help but think games run late.

Corbin only 3 1st half TO's to CC's 10. Corbin had 6 steals in the first as well.

Corbin: A. Taylor 10, Maguet 6, S. Taylor 2, Hopkins 2, Barnes 2, Moore 2. Clay County: Wolfe 5, House 5, Farmer 2, Sexton 2, Blake Smith has yet to score but I think he gets it going.

First segment of the 2nd half will be huge for Clay County. They can't afford to fall behind more.

Corbin defending well, has a solid game plan, and has been going to the boards hard from the sound of things. CC guys really complimentary of the Hounds.

In other news, my Grandma painted her living room a beautiful green, her bedroom a blue that she doesn't like now that it's done, and her kitchen a yellow, beige/sunshine tone. Love catching up with the family back home and bonding over basketball.

Hopkins gets yet another board and Corbin misses a desperation heave. We end the half at 24-13, Corbin leading and things not going well for the Tigers.

Farmer blocks Taylor and CC has the ball with :25 left in the first half.

This half cannot end quickly enough for CC.

Farmer misses and Taylor grabs it and the Hounds are on the attack. Smith and Farmer sound fairly cold. 21-13, Corbin leads by 8, late in the 1st Half.

Corbin's Hopper with the ball high, skips it to Andrew Taylor who makes a nice move and pushes Corbin's lead up to 8.

House with a tip and yet another loose ball goes out of bounds to Corbin.

CC's Sexton gets a steal and pushes it up to Smith, Clay on the attack. Smith goes up and is blocked by Corbin's Taylor, but CC will keep possession.

Block by CC's Sexton, saves it and it winds up with Hopkins who goes up and is fouled by CC's Travis Smith.
