I just wonder if the Lincoln County refs will be as partial toward their team as Corbin's were.

I don't know much about Lincoln County, but I have heard they are pretty good. I'll still go with MC by a couple in a close game. Anyone else have any thoughts? BTW the game is in Lincoln County at 7:30 tonight. 1/26

Well put, Hopson is much more talented than Miller. Too bad Hopson can't just get his head where it should be.

Well first of all the "yips" are like a disease, or disorder or something that can take place not only in golf. I have heard of plastic surgeons getting them when they work and it causes their hands to twitch (Yes, I heard it from Nip Tuck). But in golf they can happen anywhere some people have them with their tee shots, iron shots, putts, and for me chips. The only way that I can describe it is as a sudden twitch just before impact. It can cause "ALL" kinds of terrible shots, shanks, chunks, skulls, tops, double hits, just about anything you can think of. They are a golfer's worst nightmare. If you don't have them, PLEASE do yourself a favor and don't think about them bc they are nearly impossible to get rid of. According to The Golf Channel, Tom Watson is the only person to ever beat the "putting yips" without changing putters, grips, or methods of putting. Just pray that you don't ever get them, because they can come at any given time in just an instant and might never go away. Sorry if I scared anyone. LOL

Earlier I posted that this was the best list on here, but I think MC might be ahead of Dunbar after I saw how bad Catholic demolished them.

Not saying they were the best, but Madison Central has always had a pretty good student section, this year has been somewhat of a letdown though. I would love to see the CovCath students in action, I've heard about them for years.

Well, let's see, when UK is 8-9 and Butler is 15th in the nation. Or when the voters look at their senior HIGH SCHOOL season, instead of where they will be next year, considering that's what the award is based on isn't it? And I guess your counting Hopson out? Who, in many people's opinions, has much more talent than Miller and Mack, and is being recruited by a lot of big college basketball programs.

I give you props for trying to support someone from your team, but Miller, Mack, and Hopson are on a completely different level than Taylor Stewart.

Anyone ever had, or known anyone who had, the chipping "yips"? I have had them since this summer and they almost make me not want to play golf anymore. JW if anyone had troubles with them before?

He's 6'2", I don't think there are many good rebounders in the SEC at 6'2", and I think Miller and DeAndre Liggins are much better recruits than Shelvin Mack.

Where was this game played? Did Corbin play its JV team, or what happened?

I agree. Some people want to dog Hicks for making such a tough schedule but he didn't know what was going to happen to Bud, and considering the fact that they beat #1 ranked Huntington last year he probably thought they would have had a good chance to beat some of these teams.

Look, I'm as big of a UK fan as any one on here, but as I said before, you can't judge a high school award based on where a kid is going to play college ball, it's about right now. Another question I have is why is everyone in such aw that Miller is going to UK when Mack signed with #15 Butler and Hopson is being recruited by Texas, Miss State, Louisville, Cincy, Tennesse, and UK. Hopson could likely go to any school in the country if he wanted, considering that he's the #9 recruit on Rivals and the #8 recruit on ESPN. IMO Darius and Mack are a lot better team players than Hopson. Hopson is somewhat of a ball hog and lazy on defense. I think Hopson has the most talent but just needs to get his attitude together. Considering everything said I would most likely give Miller my vote.

He withdrew his commitment, I don't think he will end up at Miss State, he probably thinks he's better than them now, considering he was only a 3 star recruit when he committed to them.

To everyone on here that's saying Miller SHOULD win the award SOLELY bc he signed with UK, is completely wrong, for one Mack signed with Butler (currently a top 20 team in the nation) and Hopson has been offered by UK, and could go just about anywhere he wants next year. I think he will wait til the last minute to decide just bc he seems pretty cocky and prob wants all of the media attention. But you can't make your decision on what school the kid is going to play ball at next year.

I believe there are some kids named Scotty Hopson and Shelvin Mack who might have something to say about that. Miller may or may not be the best, but others certainly stand a chance. I think it should be Hopson, Mack, and Miller, no one else stands a chance.

Looks like a good list, but realistically I think the top 4 could all be tied for 1st. Any of those teams can be the best in the state on any given day. If Elliot Co. lost to Rose Hill, how did they move UP in the polls?
