Actually you have 20 seconds to make a substitution on a player disqualification. The free throws have nothing to do with your time limit as the substitution would be made before first shot is attempted. However, I agree with your assessment of the officials!

I agree with this statement as your 16th region boys and girls are here doing the 9th and on several occasions I have remarked that if it had been our own the coaches would have had a little bit more to say. I also echo the sentiment that I don't say that because I think they have done a poor job! :thumb:

Are you kidding me? As another poster said, floor position has nothing to do with a player control call. The HHS player should have pulled up for a short jumper off the glass. As I stated before Hodges was waiting and where she was in relation to the basket is irrelevant!

I was on the floor on Highlands end in the first half and some of those drives just didn't have anything to call. The defensive player has a right to his space, if the offensive player tries to muscle him out then there will be contact. Doesn't necessarily mean there is a foul. I thought she was be far the strongest of the three officials!:thumb:

I will say thanks for the 9th region props!:thumb: I do have a question about the two we had last night in the Cov. Cath v. HHS game. Older gentlemen, one acted like he didn't even want to be there? Hands on hips during free throws, just seemed completely disinterested. I thought the female was head and shoulder above her two partners, though she has been ripped in other threads, I liked the way she called the game.

Like he had against Villa? Come on, not like these two haven't played each other before.

Completely unfair statement. I don't know of one official that "has it out" for anyone. This has been addressed in numerous other threads.

Didn't have a dog in the fight but did attend the game. Here is just one scenario of how opinions can be wrong. I was seated on the floor opposite of the benches. A conner player dives for a loose ball right in the corner and in front of me. Official is standing about 8 feet from the play on the sideline, right where he needs to be. She hits the ball which begins to roll away, as it does she gets up on her knees to grab it as a HHS player comes diving in as well, Conner player hits the ball which rolls on the floor toward the sideline and as it is going out of bounds hits the back of the HHS player. Ref calls Conner ball which is the right call. HHS fans go nuts, horrible call, how can you miss that? Etc.... There is no way the could have seen it hit the back of the HHS player yet they are complaining about a "bad" call.

Just proves some don't know good officiating! This was a very nicely called game.

I too did not have any problems with the officiating, I thought it was solid. It was humorous to watch the HHS fans yelling at the refs about making calls both way and looking up at the scoreboard to see it was 7 and 7. Conner played the better game!

I'm just looking at the fact that since 20003 Conner made it out of the first round of regions just once.

He has won what? Isn't their last regional championship 1993?
