That's got to be tough. Miss out playing in the region two years in a row because of injury. Hope he has a speedy recovery.

Larry has dedicated alot of time to the Harrison Co. program. I think the administration should strongly consider him if he is in deed interested. Good coach and an even better person.

Who would be some others on the list? Would Larry Kendall be interested?

It was good the entire week for both boys and girls. Each night they had a different theme.

If Reitz does retire. I bet Buddy Biggs may try for the Harrison Co. position.

Deming is the only school in the Robertson County schools system (The only school in the county for that fact.). It houses K-12 with roughly 400 students. Robertson County is the smallest populated county in the state with about 2200 residents and the second smallest in square miles.

How much will the 8 to 9 day lay off be a factor in the tournament?

I'm not saying that this move should not have been made. But, I thought the administration used bad timing in letting Fraysure know. Could they have just waited a few more days and made the announcement after they were beat out in the post season? This had to have been a major distraction for the players.

Just curious but did anyone observe the coaching going on across the floor from the benches last night. There was one particular player from Harrison Co. (not going to name him) that was getting coached from the front row. I'm sure Coach Reitz was really happy with the extra coaching. When you have a coach the caliber of Mike Reitz I think I would leave the coaching to him. I'm sure he knows more about the game than 99.9% of the people in the gym.

Did I say the calls beat them? No! I said it killed their momentum. Because I thought they could have made another run.

My bad I was told it was Sat. That's what I get for not doing my homework.

I don't know how the 16th is doing it. But the 10th is not split into sessions. They are playing at 10:00, 12:00, 2:00, and 4:00. It's being done like this in order to accomadate the 9th region girls final that evening. It ma be the same in the 16th because the girls final is Sat. night at Ellis Johnson Arena.

Good facts and I agree with you about the questionable calls. I really thought that killed Deming's momentum in the last 4 or 5 minutes of the game. I really thought Deming would make one final run. But I thought a couple of the calls took the wind out of the sails. On a lighter note. Did I see Mondo Angelucci cutting down the net with the Harrison Co. ballplayers?:lol::lol::lol:

This stat kills me. IMO I thought Harrison Co. was the more aggresive of the two teams. But they go basically twice as many times to the line.

The 38th does not give an all tournament team either. I like how the 10th Region does it. They do not have a all tournament team. What they do is have a all region team. They are recognized at the end of year banquet when they induct the Hall of Fame members. IMO all tournament teams cause more trouble than they are worth. I think it promotes me ball over team ball. A player should want the team trophy not the individual trophy.

The 10th and 11th are doing the samething this year.

Congrats to Deming on their 4th straight trip to the 10th Regional Tournament. It would be great to get win number 20 in the District Championship. Will have to bring your A game to defeat a very sound Harrison County team. Good Luck Friday!

I know there was talk about a Super District in the 15th region. Looking on the KHSAA site there is a schedule for the 59th. Looking at the bracket I know that the 60th district teams are included in the 59th. What I want to know is how many teams from this district will make it to the regional tournament and how will it be determined if there are more than two? I have heard that the 59th gets 3 teams for the regional. Is this correct? Thanks to anyone who can answer.
