There were several personal fouls that were not called on X in that half as well. Not making excuses but I felt there were several hits that X got away with and some questionable calls on T

14-6 Trinity at the half. Penalties killing the rocks, couple personal fouls, big block in the back on a huge run from Quick that went down to the 10, pulled the ball back the 50, resulted in punt.

Can somebody that saw the St. X(Lou) vs Moeller game talk about how St.X matched up with Monty Madaris. I know that James Quick and Madaris are different types of WRs with Madaris being a bigger possession type WR while Quick is more elusive and explosive. Also what kind of stats did Madaris put up on the Tigers?

Does anybody know what coach Beatty's record is against X, both regular season and post.

Why so little chatter on this game. This would normally be the highlight game of the night if Trinity. We have a top team from Indy coming into to town to take on the best KY has to offer. Cathedral has played two good teams very closely, and despite the fact that I expect a big Trinity win I was hoping for a bit more debate.

After a very disappointing outing by the rocks offense at St X I would look for a big bounce back from them this week. I'm looking for something along the lines of 56-17.

After watching the entire game I came away with the clear impression that Trinity should have won the game by 3+ TDs. They shot themselves in the foot on multiple drives, and got overly aggressive on some others putting themselves in bad d&d situations. X was determined to not give ip the big play to Quick they had him doubled up on most every play. You didn't hear much from Hatcher because he was consistently double teamed. Overall impressive performance by the Rocks.

They have had Hatcher doubled on almost every play. And they have been optioning off him with many of their runs.

The Trinity offense has had several big penalties that have contributed to the low score. Wright also overthrew a wide open receiver for an easy TD. X's D seems to be everywhere, but when Trinity stays with the dink and dunk it's moved the ball well. X has only run the ball only 12 times and has had to bounce it outside almost every time. I would expect a completely different game in the second half. Both Os have moved the ball but failed inside the 30. Should be a great e d.

Can anybody talk about how Coach Cov. has handled the 3-3-5 that Elder employs. Is their zone going to be susceptible to the speed of Quick like T's first three opponents. I have been listening from afar(southwest Fl.) and have gotten the impression that the o and d lines have been fairly dominant, can the same be expected against St.X?

Hello all, I have been following the site in one form or another since the 200 season. I appreciate all of the insight that is provided by those close to all of the different programs. Can people familiar with Elder and Trinity please talk a little more about the specific match-ups. I have heard several people talk about the size of the Elder O and D lines, how will that compare to what Trinity has faced the last two games. Does Elder have a difference maker on the D-line like Hatcher? an unbelievable playmaker like Quick or something else that will cause Trinity major concerns? I will be more active now that I recently changed jobs and can play at work.
