Mr Deeds

These two are supposed to scrimmage tonight at Lynn Camp. I couldn't find it on the radio. Anyone there or know how its going?

Knott County Central has not faced Breathitt this year. Clearly Knott it the heavy favorite. Hazard is 2-0 against Wolfe County this year. Hazard the easy favorite. Which team do you think has the better chance to pull the upset?

Well can someone at least tell me if wrestling has gotten more popular the past 5-10 years in Kentucky, and if so, how much?

I am from Iowa, where wrestling is king. Nearly every school, small and large has a team, or shares with another program. Obviously Wrestling is not as big in Kentucky, but it is growing all around the world. How hard would it be to start a program in Kentucky? There are some big schools with money, and enough kids to pull from to fill a wrestling squad. Do these schools not have teams because the right people havnt come in to build a program and team people about the sport? I was just curious, as I have family in Kentucky and as a coach in Iowa, I have considered moving to Kentucky before.

I was curious as to are their any teams left out there who run the wishbone. I know the flexbone has replaced some of the wishbone but is their a tem who runs the ball non stop and doesnt pass at all? Iam from another state out in Iowa and their is a team out there who throws the ball no more then 2 times a game. They run the wishbone and just run run run run run. The carry out there fakes very well and hide the ball with their black jerseys. You can put 9 guys in the box and know where it is going but they keep pounding away and grind out the game. I havent seen anyone else do this. Most teams like the spread now IS their any all runteams who run the wishbone?

I live in Iowa but I will be listining over the radio via the internet like last week and supporting the BREATHITT COUNTY BOBCATS!! Great game with two great teams.

How did this game end? Jackson good or South Floyd bad?

What are everyones thoughts on the 14th Region? I love to watch highschool basketball and am going to be moving in that area. Can some of you give me your complete rankings of all 16 teams top to bottom so I can get some insight on how each team will be and make it better to pick which games I go to. How far off is Hazard and PCC from being the top dogs and rivals in the region again? Will Breathitt shine with all the talented players? Is June Buchannen going to get beat with Stepp? How far off is Jackson City from competing with Davidson? Why dont Riverside just join the KCSAA like other small christian schools? .....

Breathitt moved the ball rather easily the first half but due to fumbles and not being able to punch it in the Bobats took a slim 7-3 lead into the break. Russell ame out fired up and took a 17-7 lead into the 4th quarter. Breathitt then got to bussiness and marched down field to score but missing hte extra point. Russell had a 17-13 lead late in the game in Breathitt Territory before turning it over and Breathitt had a last drive that took the lead 20-17. Russell was unable to answer. BREATHITT 20 Russell 17

Breathitt inside 5

TOUCHDOWN BREATHITT 17-13 Russell lead

Breathitt 7 Russell 0 Breathitt a goal line fumble from being up 14-0. Thought I would update you all on this game.

Keep it coming. Whats been the storyline so far? Belfry deffense is just that good? Somerset not have a deffense?

TOUCHDOWN BREATHITT COUNTY!!! 7-0

Breathitt recieves.

* * * Isit possible that Belfry could be overlooking Somerset and thinking about the matchup with the other undefeated team Breathitt County? Belfry and Breathitt will be a hell of a game. Last time Breathitt was 12-0 they won that 2002 state championship. * * *

Do you remember when Breathitt played Russell and Belfry back to back last time? Breathitt beat Russell in overtime by 1 point after beating Belfry 21-0. Breathitt went on tobe state champs defeating Corbin 55-0 in 2002. Hopefully this season will be similar.
