I'll be honest my nerves were on edge for a couple days during this tourney. About like they would have been watching them in state. Royals did a great job and I am proud of them all.:thumb:

My thoughts...............WATCH OUT ! Usually a big upset will take place when the favored team's best player has an off night or the underdog team has a player that just has an outstanding night shooting. Neither of these situations took place as Mason Co. beat Mt. Vernon. Mt. Vernon's best player actually had a better then normal night and Mason Co. was struggling from behind the arc. Mason Co. still hung in there for the win. We all will find out in a couple of hours if the Royals are deserving of a top 20 ranking in the national polls. :fire:

Hopefully that ranking will hold up with others to follow. Also, Mason Co. is now 7-0.

Max preps currently has Mason Co. ranked 16th. in the nation with a record of 5-0. This must have came out just before the game with Mt. Vernon, NY. Mason Co. is now 6-0. :ylsuper:

The question was Ky basketball or Ohio basketball, not who has better indivudal players through out their state. I would put Mason Co., Scott Co.,Lou. Ballard, and Lex. Cath. head to head with any team in Ohio. They definately would hold their own. And we have already had several teams from Ky. ( not nearly as highly regarded ) play Ohio teams and walk away with wins.

Undefeated with large margins in victory. :creepy:
