Its also hard to believe Mason Co. went to the final minutes before the Scott Co. game was decided, but Scott Co. took GRC to the woodshed and then GRC made up for it all by beating Mason Co. in the Region finals.............Thats high school basketball. Who knows what this year will bring !

Playing together all these years has its advantages. Chemistry would make for some wins over more than a few of the academy and private schools that dominate the top 50.

absolutely, I was just stating the teams that I have heard the most noise from. I wasn't excluding them. I don't know much about Manual. It would be great to have all 5 in the top 50. Will it happen ?

If I am right, it was at Mason Co. Rice had black and white uniforms with RICE on the front ( if that helps ?) and I think we won....and CLo era............Somebody help me

Thanks ! Hopefully we can keep adding too and improving this situation. The lack of big city media coverage seems to hinder the teams in our state in these polls along with student enrollment. And.......... To all the teams crossing our state lines to play this year, I wish you the best of luck. And win or lose, we all know you will have others think positively about Kentucky high school basketball. :thumb:

Yeah, pretty entertaining. I watched them play at Mason Co. ( against the Royals ) years ago and then at US Bank Arena years later.

Has any new national pre-season rankings come out? I am thinking Kentucky may have several teams included in the top 50. Mason Co., Scott Co., and Lex. Cath. Also, alot of noise coming out of Lou. Ballards corner........

I'm a Mason fan, but if you want to talk about "execution "..... Look no further than Russell. They do what they do and do it well......very well.... The kind of " well " that results in Wins, seemingly every week in every season, and then sometimes State Titles.
