SHS Future

Meece and Northern play tonight at 6:00pm. I will be there with a radio watching the Jumpers while listening to the Cats. I hope the Meece 7th grade can pull it together for a win. They have been unpredictable this year. The 8th grade is looking awsome. If they continue to play this well, Northern could be in for a long night. Go Jumpers.

I would pick Wayne Co. If Garrard comes out with the same enthusiasm as they did against the Jumpers, then they could get the W.

I had Pulaski in my 12th region top 5. But, not now. I wish Ty the best. He is an amazing athlete on the court. I hope he takes the high road in life.

Meece Middle 8th grade beat Corbin 22-8. Meece remains undefeated. The 7th grade did not fair as well.

We use to call Dave Cantrall " Can't tell Cantrall" back when I was in high school. But, still to this day I look forward to Monday morning's Herald Leader. Good Luck to the Titans the rest of the season.

Tonight the Brewers only gave up 1 run on 4 hits in a 9-1 victory over the Astros. One of those hits was a double by Josh Anderson. The only run scored by the Astros was by Josh Anderson. Congratulation to Josh.

Did Northern and Southern play tonight?

I just looked at the Lexington Herald rankings. Pulaski Co. is a 3 point underdog to S. Laurel. They also have PC 23 points below Mercer Co. the week after PC beat Mercer Co. (Go figure???) Good luck Maroons.

The lexington Herald has Southwestern as a 5 point underdog to Mercer Co. I would like to see the upset. SW 21-20. Good luck Warriors.

The last time Somerset and Wayne Co. met was in 2002 and Wayne Co. won 27-14.

When do the Bucs and Jets play there first game against each other this year? I know they have already scrimmaged. Should be a good game again this year.

Meece Middle goes to Corbin Thursday night. This game could determine the #1 seed in the conference.
