He did coach Science Hill last year. Pulaski has made changes this year to keep up with Somerset and Southwestern. They asked Jeff Cothron to head the feeder program and moved Shannon to coach the middle school. They originally asked Cothron to coach JV, but he wanted to take the feeder program and get it to the next level.

How is the season going? Give some updates.

Meece and South Laurel play each other Nov 19 at South. They play early in the season this year.

The Mountain News has Corbin ranked #5, Breathitt Co. #4, and Belfry #2. All potential foes for the Jumpers. Come Oct. 26 the competition will pick up.

I saw last night Pulaski Co. is ranked #6 in the Mountain news top 10.

Meece starts the season at Lincoln Co. I don't know the exact date yet.

When I first ate liver it was wrapped in bacon. I though "Anything wrapped in bacon must be good." Boy was I wrong!! Not even a Milwaukees Best could get that taste out of my mouth.

I look forward to that game. Somerset and Corbin were great rivals back when I played.

Southern 8th grade will be the team to beat.

Meece should have a solid 6th grade team this year. Other teams that will give you a good game are probably Corbin 6th, Clinton Co. 6th and Wayne Co. 6th.

If Pulaski can get by Lincoln, they could go 10-0 for the regular season. But, one game at a time. Wayne is next on the schedule.

I heard on the radio that Cole either broke or tied the record for career TD receptions with 59 tonight.

The KBA has posted the dates for the middle school state tournaments. This year they have added the 6th grade. This is a great tournament for middle school teams. Meece Middle has already registered (6th, 7th, and 8th). 6th grade Jan. 25-27 7th grade Feb. 8-10 8th grade Feb. 15-17

It would be fun to see a 12th region/ 13th region challenge like the ACC and Big Ten do at the college level. The 13th region has probably been the better region the past few years, but the future is looking pretty strong for the 12th.

Sould be a learning year for the young Warriors, but Shultz is a good coach so they could be competitive at the end of the year.

Somerset should be solid this year. With senior leadership from Ty Bo, Wallen, Price, Coomer, and Megargel this should be the best opportunity for Somerset to get to Rupp. The question is going to be point guard. Is Cole going to play basketball or is he not. I have heard both ways. If he doesn't play I think Dockery may see a lot of time at the point. I look forward to a great year. Good Luck Jumpers.

I am going to pick the Maroons by 2 TDs. Should be a fun game to watch.

I think Williamsburg has cancelled there game with Meece for tomorrow night. It is going to be a long break for the Jumpers.

I think Georgetown Middle will have a solid team 6th-8th.

I have to agree with you. Meece, S. Laurel, and Whitley Co. are the teams to beat this year in the south. Any new players move in or transfer? Meece should have the same team.
