Yes Bracken is bad but they are aslo rebuilding. Dont put posts in here stating that it would be better for them to play a middle school program. Running the kids down is not what this place is about.

Brackens biggest problem is mainly in-experience. Before Coach Faust arrived there were less than 20 players playing varsity now they have 40 on their roster. Looks like more inexperience than anything. As far as athletes on this team what I seen is they do have a few. One of their QBS the Purcell kid, Mathew Purcell is a good size kid thats a freshman that has a nice arm. Codie Breeze is their Junior running back who is very quick and looks to be a very nice punter.(He get a lot of practice) The Scott kid Senior QB is a nice player also and plays SS (Unless they didnt chang These guys are athletes for sure for Bracken. It takes time everyone that has been involved with football or/or a new program would understand that. Bracken struggles in all sports from what I have seen, are they considering going independent in basketball and baseball also or are those two sports doing well at Bracken.

NEERFAN All In is clueless about this coaching staff because they havent been at Bracken for three years. For some reason he keeps wanting a another coach at Bracken so maybe he wasnt happy with a Coach like Coach Faust getting this job. Coach Faust is a class act ask the football people at Bracken about him.

All In do you know a coach that could come to Bracken and fix everything? Coach Faust has been at Bracken a total of 13 games and played a game last night with 4 starters out and a 5th starter that played basically 1/2 a game. Eminence should have won 40 - 0 against basically a JV team. What is emabarrassing for Bracken is to have a guy on here like you ridiculing their team and calling their players study hall kids every time you post something. I truly feel sorry for the parents of these players who go out and give 110% on Friday night to have someone like you who thinks they are for Bracken posting some of the posts I have read from you on here. Hats off to All In for being such a fan and not having any facts once again.

This should be a descent game for Bracken and these two teams should match up well. Bracken has the Scott and Breeze kid that move the ball well on the ground and they should be able to move it against Eminence. Eminence spends a lot of time throwing all kinds of different stuff at you trying to confuse the other teams defense, if Brackens defense doesnt get caught up in this they should do fine.

Sorry I am new I was just digging around on here and stumbled upon this. I actually found guys on here that I knew so I figured I would put my two sense in about them. They are good guys by the way.

Coach B , John D and Felix are all good guys over there. Hey All In who are all the coaches at Bracken??? Your the only guy on here that I have seen from Bracken so i figured I would ask you. They seem to be energetic guys and work well with the kids I just wondering where they came from and who they were.

Your probably right about the feeder program, Brooksville is a small town. From my chat Friday night they have really grown the numbers though. Coach Faust seems to have a good plan established. He seems to be a very dedicated coach and well respected in Bracken Co from what I seen after the game.

All In I just got on BGP and everywhere I have gone I have seen nothing but negative comments about this team. Your right there probably wouldnt be any threads started about Bracken if it was'nt for you but I wouldnt exactly say that you are for Bracken football more than anyone on here after reading several of your threads. All i was saying earlier is that it looks like they are working hard to build from the bottom up.

I think your right about the talent also. Most small schools are sharing their athletes with other programs within the school. There is talent on Brackens team with the Senior QB Scott and the Junior running back Breeze. They seem to work well in the back field together. Scott can run and throw and Breeze is just quick, not a lot of moves but he can run. Both these guys are on both sides of the ball all night long and Scott is the kicker while Breeze is the punter.

I know I am new to this All In but why such the interest in beating on Bracken Football. From what I seen it looks like they have a pretty good handle on things when it comes to re-vamping a struggling program. With Coach May handling the 5th and 6th grade team with over 30 players, Coach Breeze with the 7th and 8th grade team with over 30 players, the flag football teams from Kindergarten up to 4th grade going on it looks like things are rolling. I talked to Coach Breeze at the Manchester game and he told me they pulled out of the NKY youth football league last year and started two middle school teams and played an independent schedule last year. Now this year they are playing independent again and the 5th and 6th graders are playing in a league with the Mason co 5th and 6th graders. Going from 22 players 2 years ago to over 60 players in the middle school alone is pretty impressive. Give em a chance All In I think just from talking to this guy it looks like they are building from the bottom up pretty good.

thanks for the welcome. This is a pretty cool place for high school football. After reading this post again why is All In so against Bracken football. I would think any program that is struggling and is trying to basically rebuild would be backed as much as possible.

I was at the game when Bracken won for the first time in 2 years. The people at Bracken are unbelievable. The stands were full the boosters are very helpful and very nice people. I met Coach Breeze, 7/8 head coach, while I was there and was very surprised to hear what Bracken is doing football wise. They have a 5th and 6th grade team with over 30 players playing in the Mason Co league, the 7/8 grade team is playing a full independent schedule and are winning, there is flag football from kindergarten up to 4th grade. It looks like Coach Faust has got things rolling down here. He has people in the right places and people are really supporting the program. Coach Breeze told me he has 32 7/8 graders on his team alone. These guys use to play in the norther KY youth football league 2 years ago with 22 5th -8th graders on the entire team. Now that they have pulled out and went indepentent as of last year they have over 60 kids on two teams playing at the middle school level. I have to admit they may have been loosing at the varsity level but it look like the feeder program is in place.
