If the JV guys moves up...who fills in for him on the JV squad?

At Bellevue...as far as the best career I would say David Kiefer ('92). Then probably Nate Berkeley then Tom Kafel.

This is a tough call. With Yeagle out who knows how good or bad Lloyd will play and Newport is struggling beyond belief so my prediction Newport 1 Lloyd 0 I said this because Newport has one up on Lloyd....their head coach will be there.

Although I still think Ludlow wins this game....this injury could make this game a little more interesting. This could make this game worth watching now. But I'll still make an early prediction Ludlow 28 Stangs 14 :ylsuper:

Who is left on Ludlow's schedule. I know they still have Brossart, but who else? Is there any games where they can keep the spread offense and work on Dunn and Steg's form, knowledge of offense, reads, timing, etc. I would think that Beechwood isn't going to be this game. Once again, thoughts and prayers with Rouse on a speedy recovery and a sincere good luck to the two back-ups, just hang in there and do whatcha can.

Futurecoach...do you know if Ludlow will stick to their offense or do you think they'll switch it up some and run the ball more? How does Dunn and Steg. compare to Rouse? Any similarities?

8 or 9 TD's might be a tad bit excessive. I'll say 6 TD's. In my opinion Bellevue's starters will be out by half, and Coach Eckstein's protege ( I believe he is the younger of the Wilson brothers that played in the late 90's) will be calling the plays the entire 2nd half. :ylsuper:

I saw Zach Steg. play in a JV game, he looked descent in the game, but just like with any young QB he'll have to grow up fast in order to fill the shoes of Rouse is a really good QB. For Ludlow's fortunes let's hope he can get the job done. It just sucks for him or the other guy that their first game is against the Beechies.

Well if you would read my post, I said that Ludlow should come into this game to work on their game plan for Brossart. I did not say rollover and take the loss to the Beechies anywhere in my post. You work on this game plan while you are trying to win this week. A coach would know that, then as you play this week work on it to make sure it is where it needs to be for Brossart, while you are TRYING to win this week. :ylsuper:

In all other cases, I believe this is true. However, in this case, I think Borchers has to know what is needed to extend the season and that is beating Brossart. So you tell the kids that you have put together a plan that will lessen the embarrassment against the Beechies and that wil guarantee a "W" agains the 'Stangs

Ludlow should just go in this game to work on and perfect their game plan for Brossart.

If Rouse plays I think the Panthers can cook up something to score, maybe a trick play or a busted coverage by the Beechies. Beechwood 53 Ludlow 6 If Rouse doesn't play....then yikes this one will be even worse Beechwood 59 Ludlow 0

Bellevue will revenge their 49-0 score of last week with their own 49-0 score this week.

First of all Dayton is better than Ludlow because they beat them. Unfortunately, you don't play the same team 10 times in one season, so that point is ridiculous. Next, I don't care if Dayton won by 1 or 100 points a win is a win. I don't agree that it was a bad spot, I thought it was the right call. Also, to make a comment about Bellevue's Newport victory, at the time Newport was pick to be one of the better 2A schools next to NCC and Holy Cross, and Newport is a more quality win than Trimble or Carroll Co.'s. Paris is again another quality win that is higher than Trimble and Carroll. Just face it, Brossart is now the must win game for Ludlow and their season rests on that fact, like it or not. All the pressure is on Ludlow and not Brossart (they have nothing to lose and the opportunity of a playoff spot for a first year varsity program!) something no one expected. The game never comes down to officiating...from what I saw Dayton out coached, outplayed, and out manned Ludlow. Sorry future coaches....there are no room for excuses....especially if you are going to coach one day (that is day one stuff)

Are you serious about this? Bellevue plays a similar schedule to what NCC used to play until the old man realized he couldn't get it down and then let his son take over (then they became the decent team that they are) Bob just sits there a collects the wins

Based on futurecoach's analysis of the 2007 Ludlow Panthers I agree.....Ludlow better start calling the Galt House and making reservations because they will be playing in Cardinal Stadium December 7th! Ludlow is going to be state champs in 2007:dancingpa

I think Dayton wins this one which will leave Ludlow thanking God that they still have to play Brossart so that they can get their district win to make the playoffs, just to lose to Beechwood\Bellevue first round.:cry:

That good running total -16 yds of rushing against Bellevue...I don't care if a teams passing attack is working, if their runhing game is supposed to be good, they shouldn't finish with negative yards. How do you say Rouse did not play a sharp game he had 370 yds. passing, but could get the yards when they counted!

Sorry Futurecoach, I think Dayton will take this one in a low scoring affair... Dayton 14 Ludlow 8 Also, by the way, when a team has a turnover, the defense is almost always the reason for the turnover (i.e, an interception is caused by great coverage by the defense). Tell Borchers to chill out after the this game, he might consider this running up the score
