Mascots!

I agree, plus I believe it helps the winner get ready for Rupp, shooting in a bigger arena, etc..

How did it help Dixie last year?

I'd be curious to see if there is a correlation between how teams shoot and what type of gym they played their regional tourney.

Atmosphere. Great atmosphere. It's lacking at the BOK.

Lacking at the 3 places you mentoned are lacking seating and parking. I'll take BOK any day. MUCH more convenient.

That's the trade-off. I fall into "old school" on this one. Cram me into Conner on a hard seat right on top of the floor with it being extremely loud and hot and I'm in b-ball tourney heaven. I'll trade getting there early to get a parking spot and a ticket for that atmosphere every day.

They are of no use to me if they don't fight and rip each others heads off.

Remind me again Clyde where you went to HS at? HUGE, HUGE, HUGE home court advantage to the team that plays the Regional, on their home court.

Oh and BTW remind me how many State Basketball titles the Ninth has won? I will answer my own question! Two and one of those titles was won after Cov Holmes won the Regional Title at BOKC!
