Maybe the Colonels get a pass on their performance against Holmes, knowing they were in the regional and coming off of a Four-OT game against Holy Cross.

 

3 OT...I don't think they were tired coming off of that, maybe emotionally drained, but not tired.

I sure hope NewCath goes down low in this one. In the 3 games I've seen this year they did not even seem to be looking inside unless the post man was obviously wide open. If the post man did get the ball they kicked it back out almost immediately. Inside out is how you win games.

AMEN, AMEN, AMEN. Agree with what everyone has been saying about the ball going inside. The ball just doesn't get inside. Your bigs can't score if they never get the ball, and NCC seems to do a good job of NOT getting them the ball. If they don't get it inside they WILL lose. Period.

NC doesn't own the patent on "the ball not going inside." It's been a problem in high school for a long time. Most guards simply do not have the confidence to pass inside unless it's an easy pass.

Agree with what you are saying but this is where I thought the coach had a say, but apparently not. When I played if the coach said "Get it inside" you either did or sat. Seems that's not the case anymore.

Looking forward to a good game tonight and hopefully a win by the Breds! Honestly though, I can't wait to see the Crazies in action! I've seen them enough times in football but never during a basketball game. Sometimes the student sections can be more entertaining than the actual game!
