The All-Star selections are voted on by opposing coaches from within the Division. Coaches cannot vote for their own players.

 

The NKCA Banquet will take place on Sunday, March 11th at 2pm at Covington Catholic High School.

Dontel Rice as the top selection just further proves my statement that no way he's the third or even fourth best player in this region.

 

Kid has been Mr Consistency,.constantly putting up double doubles and being at or near 20 ppg in doing so.

 

Regardless of what happens in region, he is my POY. Obviously if Dixie gets back to Rupp though, Hatton is just as deserving.

Some are saying Bray should get some D1 looks due to his athletic ability yet he doesn't make a D2 team. Was he overlooked?

 

Absolutely not. What are his numbers? Or more importantly, how many minutes a game did he average? He sat a lot.

I still take Palmer. Much quicker and better defender. Ruthsatz is the better shooter but I'd take Palmer in every other category.

 

I'm taking Nick R for all-around game. I'd like to have Palmer along side of him. That would be fun.

I can agree with that. Those two would be deadly together.

 

Scary thing is...Palmer might not even be the best pg on his own team next year.
