PASSER Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Congrates to the Big Trains and the coaching staff on their tournament victory tonight!! Sounds like they put it all together for this one........keep it up!!
pastmyprime Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 After playing Scott, Campbell Co, Brossart and Newport before Christmas, its great to see the Big Trains get a win at Bracken who started out 5-0. Looks like the Pelle boys got their usual 20 a piece, with the other three starters all chipping in 8-12 points. Aaron Allen, a 6'3 junior who has never played organized basketball at any level, had a double-double. Good Luck to the Trains as they enter their D III Conference schedule.
BGGreen Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Congrats to the 'Trains on their tournament victory!! The Pelle boys can play for anyone, and Justin has some serious hops!! They are fun to watch and may make some noise in the NKAC D-3 race!!
PASSER Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 That's what its going to take , getting quality time from the other starters,to keep this "TRAIN" running
Butterfly Baby Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Did the Trains play that well or did Bracken play that bad?
the legend red Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Congrats to the 'Trains on their tournament victory!! The Pelle boys can play for anyone, and Justin has some serious hops!! They are fun to watch and may make some noise in the NKAC D-3 race!! Are these boys D-1 prospects because this is the first I have heard of them. Didn't Silver Grove barely beat St Pat?
panther15z30 Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Bracken shot poorly and turned it over quite a bit they were just not in sync on offense. Silver Grove capatilized on the turnovers and shot the ball very well from beyond the ark. They also managed a lot of easy baskets inside. Bracken made a nice run at the start of the 2nd half but The Big Trains answered with a run of their own to win by 17.
striker Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Are these boys D-1 prospects because this is the first I have heard of them. Didn't Silver Grove barely beat St Pat? D-1? No. How many D-1 prospects in the state? Maybe 15.
the legend red Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 D-1? No. How many D-1 prospects in the state? Maybe 15. Ok are they D-2 players BG said they can play with anybody.
cch5432 Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 Ok are they D-2 players BG said they can play with anybody. I think he was just trying to say that they are good players who can compete with many others, not that they are college prospects.
striker Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 Ok are they D-2 players BG said they can play with anybody. He said play for anyone, which they most likely could. I guess this is one of your attempts to make people from Brossart look stupid. Good try.

If they shot poorly and turned it over quite a bit then SG must have played pretty good defense. Congrats to Coach Tony and the Trains!
Butterfly Baby Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 Coach Tony. I thought Hart coached the Trains
