I know the official scorer sure didn't. How do the 3 referees not approach the table at half and make sure its switched? Heck I keep book at AAU games and They do it There. The timekeeper also seems prone to mistakes. He was bad at an 8th grade tourney a few years ago and had half the Crowd yelling at him for mistakes. For a District Tournament I thought it was bush. Also, the 6'8 ref is in his First year of Varsity refereeing from What I heard. He wasn't bad but is there That much of a shortage in NKY That you can't get some Veterans out there and try not to get a Dayton grad?

On a sidenote, I understand the Birds were 15-33 from the line which is not good.

Boy now that is not a good thing to have. At a district tournament you need the highest qualified folks in your "district" to do things, not just the home guy. Q one of my points was about the free throw shooting........what gives on that? Has it become a mental block for the team? Is it consistently that way or is it one game 80% one game 50%?

Also, I will give you credit you answer all comers and seem to be put out on an island on BGP. If the same statements or comments were made in a football thread there would be 100 Bluebird faithful beating me over the head with answers...........and chastizing me non stop for questioning anything. Knowing many of the younger players in the Highlands system I hope they will create an atmosphere that can put basketball back on top. And I do not know who you are but sometimes I say things just to ellicit a response from you............

Did I read where someone said something about football!!! Hahahaha!!!

See, us football folk still read about the other sports programs!

Not sure if Dayton even called in a boxscore as I didn't see one on NKY.com, Kentucky.com or kypost.com.

Here are some great photos taken at the game by a Highland parent.

Does the Home Team or the District Host call in the boxscore? HHS was the Home Team on the scoreboard last night v. Dayton at Dayton.

Not sure about that. It ended up being in the actual hardcopy of the Enquirer today.

Towles had 22, Lewis had 12 to lead Birds.
