With the kind of crowd we had at St. Henry, I'm surprised this has not been posted yet.

Burger led the Indians with 25 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 steals in 21+ minutes of play. Antonio Campbell in his return from a three game layoff, scored 19, grabbed 9 rebounds and had 6 blocks in 23+ minutes of play. Burt Pouncy had 11 nailing 3 of 4 shots from beyond the arc. The Indians forced the Cru into 18 first half turnovers (28 for the game) to build a 20 point lead at halftime. St Henry pulled within 11 47-36 with 3:23 left in the 3rd Quarter but did not get any closer.

Darius Meiman led the Crusaders with 18 points and Sam Dedden led St. Henry's victory on the boards (40-33) with 10 rebounds.

It was a very classy act of St. Henry's PA announcer to recognize HC's All "A" state championship before the game and equally classy were the St. Henry fans in the lobby wishing us well in our district tournament. I applaud the Crusader faithful.

Is Holy Cross the favorite to win the 9th?

Is Holy Cross the favorite to win the 9th?

I don't think so. I still say Dixie is the favorite. Then I would put Holy Cross as the next most likely. I would then put Boone County, Holmes, New Cath and Cov Cath in the list of others who could pull it off but probably won't have enough to win the region.

Dang autocorrect. CRU NATION

JV Cru won by 6. Nice group of Crusader Sophs already anxious for next year.....

Great season by HC but I look for a very tough battle for the season to continue and a possible CovCath upset in the district tourney game.
