10th Region: Clark County still the team to beat

Featured Replies

Thanks for the info so in other words GRC will not get in on hosting the 10th region anytime in the near future.

I think it would be 5+ years before they can consider something like this (For boys basketball)

How close is the new school to the "old" school?

Not far at all. Just stay on that road toward Richmond, US 627. It is a little over a mile.

3-5 is what I have heard.

By the time they get the new gym built, GRC will be in the 11th and Montgomery will be in the 16th. And the Fieldhouse will get their tournament back.

When the big realignment happens, who moves into the 10th? Fleming I would assume would be 1...is the other Lewis Co. or another NKY school ? If it's a NKY school I think the next closest school is Highlands.

Wasn't Fleming in the 10th until a couple years ago?

Yes and so has Bath Co. and Estill Co.

I said in December Harrison County wins the 10th and although I agree CC is the prohibitive favorite I'm sticking with my prediction. Remember, HC almost beat CC last year in the region and talent comparison would have predicted a 40 point blow-out.

What some don't understand about that game is GRC didn't run their regular offense. I kept saying to those around me...."What are we doing?" Coach H stated later, that is was probably not the best game plan after all.

With a huge win last night over#7 Henry Clay, the Cards should be ready for post season. The Cards end their regular season at 25-5....amazing!!!!!!
