Jim Schue
Greg Brohm was announced this morning as the new football coach heading up the Thomas Nelson High School program. Very intriguing hire. He'll be introduced at a meet-and-greet tonight at 6 p.m. at the TNHS fieldhouse. Story

Spread O
Wow what a big hire. Congrats to Thomas Nelson High School. I don't know Commander? Big time hire because of name? I do know they had a very experienced OC of a high profile school interested but chose this route? If you put the resumes of both without the names most would have chosen the other guy everytime. Oh well at least they will get some mileage out of a name hire. I am sure he will have some connections to get some quality assistants but will they help him with that? He will have his work cut out for him.

Hearsay
There has been a lot of friction here locally about athletes being transferred to Thomas Nelson. The hire is outstanding from a marketing and public relations perspective in the local area. There will be less resistance to transfer now because of the established name. If Stefan Lefors can succeed in his first year at Christian Academy, Greg Brohm can succeed with the Generals. Incidentally, their new color scheme and logo are outstanding. I never looked at it that way! Now it is time for the adminstration to step up and support him! Give him the tools to do it right!

Jim Schue
What area will the new school pull from? Will this mainly be county kids or Bardstown city kids? County kids primarily from the Boston and New Haven areas. 3 schools in Nelson County wow. Maybe they will ad a new school in Scott County when it becomes as big as Nelson. Actually, it's going to be four. Bardstown, Nelson County, Thomas Nelson and Bethlehem.

Jim Schue
I really can't believe that there's going to be a Nelson County High School, and a Thomas Nelson High School....SMH Especially since NCHS has lost about 200 students over the past couple years.
