Under no circumstances should the Kentucky Derby be beaten by the Winter Olympics. Actually the Olympics as a whole are highly overvalued.

Daytona 500 needs to be considered for the finals. You know how many hillbillies have there beer on ice at like 9 am for this event.

Bars are packed at 8 am for noon games.

 

Also, I'm assuming this is strictly a sports thing, but St. Patty's deserves strong consideration regardless.

Since the NBA Finals and World Series are on during the evening and last multiple games I don't think many people start imbibing before noon on them.

I hate to admit this, but I don't watch soccer at all nor do I even like it. But I have been out drinking before noon for a World Cup game.

I agree. And anything involving a motor (Daytona 500, Indy 500) should be seen as a formidable opponent.
