I feel like you must have Rowan County, Bardstown and Knott County Central on this list.

A few things...

 

1. Newcath isn't a top 25 team.

 

2. Again, don't understand how both Holy Cross and Covcath are ranked ahead of Holmes when both lost to Holmes, and in HC case they were outscored by 15 when the game resumed between the two. Holmes has a couple bad losses but three came early in the season and the other came with a starter out.

 

Walter a few other things to think about. Brossart has lost 3 very close games to teams on this list. #10 Bowling Green, #16 Clay Co. #17 Cov. Holy Cross. They have also beaten #24 Newport Central Catholic and #25 Holmes from this list. That being said, I don't think Brossart is a top 25 team either.

These lists are starting points for conversations and it bothers me that the folks who put these lists together seldom see a lot of the teams actually play.

Holy Cross has beaten Bowling Green twice and also Clay Co., but both ranked ahead of them....Walter, any thoughts on this one?

I said earlier in the year that I felt BG was overrated as far as rankings go. Clay Co is solid but not a top 20 team...both would be middle of the pack in the 9th region, IMO, behind Dixie, Holmes, and Holy Cross.

Agree with that assessment 100%.
