I'm taking Holy Cross but would not be surprised if Brossart or the winner of LCA / Bardstown won.

Looking for Cov Holy Cross to win this one. HC basketball team is looking to place their stamp on the year like the indians did in football. If they play their good game I see no reason they couldnt win it.

Holy Cross in my choice.

Holy Cross is going to be very tough to beat. They play an aggressive full court pressing style; they go 10 players deep and everyone can score; and they have 6'8" Tony Campbell on the back of their press so they can can take risks and know that you can't score on layups even if you beat the press because Campbell will block it. He is a very good shot blocker, big body, and he can hit the three. It will take a very good team playing at the top of their game to beat Holy Cross.

For anyone who has not watched a game in the Frankfort Civic center. I think it is one of the best places to watch a basketball game. As a local person I often wonder why they don't host more events in this building for high school. The 11th region tourney used to be played here.

Hearing the winner of that first round game (Owen vs. Buckhorn) may be a serious contender, although they'd likely see overall favorite Holy Cross in round #2 ??
