Been thinking about this prediction for a full day now.

 

Montgomery County wins by 3.

With this game being played at Central, I have to go with the home team by 12, too much speed and quickness on Central's side.

Anyone know where I can listen to this game....thanks.

Does anyone have any info on Madison Central besides Dominique Hawkins? Someone told me they have multiple D-1 players on their team and that they are junior loaded?

Dominique definitely only d-1 kid and he is low to mid major I would think. They do have 2 other really good juniors.

 

Dominque is a VERY good high school player but he is not a D-1 basketball player, he is a D-1 football player. He isn't tall enough to really excell at basketball in the D-1 level. I would honestly say Central has about 3 or 4 kids who could play small college ball. The O'Bryan kid can flat play ball and has good handles and if open will knock down the jumper. As usual Central is always near the top of the 11th region, and to this point is the favorite to win it, but as we all know the 11th is a beast to get out of. Central wins by 12 and I don't really see them being pushed very hard in this game even though Montgomery has a good team.

I think more people will disagree with this statement than they would agree. Dominique has proven on the high school and AAU level to be a dominant player at multiple positions. He is probably one of the top 5 juniors in the state and a possible Mr. Basketball candidate next year. I think the height issue is why most people feel he would be a low level D1 or mid-major player. However, we also must realize that he is only a junior and will only get better as he progresses.
