Yes it is an upset, but this Grant County doesn't get a lot of respect. Don't be surprised if a few more Regional contenders get picked off along the way. This team works extremely hard everyday. Doesn't hurt when Carr and Hunt are stroking it either.

Congrats to Grant Co. on the victory. 32 District getting very interesting.

Grant goes on a 13 to 2 run to finish the 2nd quarter, up 2 at the half. Second half is back and forth with the lead changing numerous times. Owen hits a layup with 16 seconds to take the lead by 1. Grant calls timeout with 8 seconds and Hunt hits a 3 with 4.8 left in the game. Owen calls timeout.......doesn't get a shot off. Great win for GC!!!!

I looked at the big picture when I said Owen hasn't been playing well lately. They had only won 4 of their last 9 games going into this matchup. I would consider that to be struggling.

I think they hit 6. Carr had 3 and Hunt had 3

Congrats to Coach Hicks and the Braves on a great win. This team has a lot of grit and alwyas keeps fighting. If their shooters are on and Hurley gets to the rim they can be very dangerous. Especially when you look at their statur compared to Owen's big men. Keep working hard, the 32nd is going to be a fun race this year.

That's why I consider it an upset. As I said, Owen has not been playing well and based on Grant's last 6 games, they have been playing worse. However, I'm not surprised by the outcome.
