I'm a big fan of his "Stabat Mater". I've actually seen it performed live, and it was awe inspiring. I'll have to check out "Jesu, Rex Admirabilis", though - I'm not familiar with it. As for the most beautiful pieces of music ever written, I'd also add in Gregoria Allegri's "Miserere mei, Deus" as one of my top spots. He wrote it for the Sistine Chapel's tenebrae services.

December 23, 201114 yr ^ Which Regina Coeli? We did Mozart's (KV 276) when I was in high school. I don't know...I was in the choir in 7th & 8th grade, and sang the hymn at two Easter Vigil services, as a descant. I fell in love with it. It was at Most Blessed Sacrament. I'll try to find out.
