Covington Catholic 57 Campbell County 51

The only other player (that is if you want to include them in NKy) is Mason Monroe from PC and if I had to choose one over the other, I would pick Campbell County McGovney, over PC Monroe!

McGovney's length and high motor is what makes him a great player. I cant imagine what more he could have done than score 29 outside of scoring 36 like Siemac stated.

None of the guys you mentioned have shown it just yet, in fact Towles hasnt played a second but is due back on Tuesday against the Camels.

Towles will be a force. (I just hope when he scores at home, the Highlands media coordinator doesn't cue up that TD video mantage. My ears are still bleeding from the playoff game...made me miss the cannon. :D)

Cov. Cath. hit a few rough spots against the Camels, including near the end of the game when a couple of Colonel turnovers and missed free throws put the outcome in jeporady. Cov. Cath. is improving by leaps and bounds. They may well have a say in who wins the 9th region.

Tough District for them to compete in so they better hope they can get out of that gauntlet first. Everyone in that District is capable of having a say in the Region crown.

Besides the aforementioned point guard from Park Hills - who by the way is a stud - Who's better than McGovney this early in the season in NKY? I haven't seen Hightchew, Towles, Chambers, Saunders, or anyone from Holy Cross and Holmes, but who is playing better? He carries the Camels on his back. He scores 29 and the total team score is 51 tonight. I mean I guess he could've gotten 36 to secure the W.

Hatton!

Anyone know anything about Cov Cath's Holiday tourney? I see it is about 3 hours from here but I am refering to teams.

Thanks Panda. Nothing better than the kids being home, and supporting the Colonels!

I know we are playing Coshocton, Ohio Thursday Dec 29th in the first game and that Granville HS, Ohio is playing East Columbus, Ohio in the second game and CovCath will play the winner/loser of the second game on Friday Dec 30th. Other than that, I really don't know anything about those teams!

I have seen McGovney, Hatton and Campbell all play this year. I believe Campbell could be the most dominate if utilized correctly..

He (Campbell) must really be some kind of player, the other two have great skills. I suspect if Hatton had to dominate a game he could but he plays a team game if not pushed. I look forward to catching Tony Campbell in action soon.
