Blake did hit schools last summer. I know he went to Duke and maybe Vandy.

 

Is Bolin bigger?

 

Bolin is listed as 6'2" but I have been "up close" with him and I didn't think he was that tall.

 

Bir needed to hit some of the combines and qb schools. Which I do not think he did, if I remember correctly. I think baseball played into that though.

Yes. I think he is a junior.

Watch out for Donavan McCoy!

 

He will have a ton of success next year and will out play most established QB's. I don't

believe any 2013 QB could have come in and did what he did against Elder.

maybe you are unware that Travis Wright put on a show at the Pitt in Trinity's 3rd game of this season.

Wright is solid. The show was more of a case of a stud receiver being unguarded.

 

His arm strength and size are probably going to hurt his college options.

Blake Bir at CovCath is a better high school qb than Bolin, IMO.

 

Saw them both in the past two weeks. I'd take Bolin without a second thought.

while I don't disagree about that stud reciever. I will disagree on Wrights arms strength. His arm strength is on the same level as Brian Brohm. I think most question his arm Stength cause as a sophomore Coverdale didn't trust him throwing the ball down field as a result he threw mostly screen & Short Passes. Which BTW I think cost them game against Cincy St. X last year, that & not getting the ball into hands of Dawkins AKA The Roadrunner. But anyway if you look at what Travis has done passing down the field this year he has proven he is a D1 QB. BTW Bolin is 1b on my list he also is a special QB.

Wright is probably the best but Bolin is right thee with him. Donovan McCoy should have a Breakout year ad he has patiently waited his turn. I know he isn't playing hoops so I would expect him to hit the weights hard and really work on his mechanics this winter.

What I'm aware of is that McCoy had taken maybe 5 practice snaps the entire year before being asked to do this. It was IMO amazing.

Wright and McCoy are built similar and will likely lead their respective teams to another title next year.

I question his arm strength based on my eyeballs. I had never heard of the kid until this year so any previous issues are moot.

 

We will disagree that he has proven anything other than he is a solid high school qb. I hope he gets to play college ball if he wants to. If you made me predict I'd say he looks like an NAIA QB . And there's certainly no shame in that.
