Central scored on a 72 yd pass with a minute to go in the first half to go up 21-7, this after Corbin accepted a penalty instead of forcing Central to punt on what would have been 4th and 11. Corbin has not handled adversity well at all this year and the game was pretty much over at this point.

 

Corbin then lost a fumble on their first possession that Central scored on, then on the kickoff, Central kicked medium deep and no one on Corbin went for the ball, Central scores. Corbin throws an INT at their own 15, Central scores........

Corbin has alot of work ahead of them.........could be 2-3 years before they can compete for 3A crown. They have some very good young talent coming up, but keeping them on the football field has become a huge issue lately.

Corbin held Wales in check until the 3rd and 4th quarters. I recall him breaking an 83 yard run in the 3rd qtr to put Central up I believe 48-7 and then catching an 80 yard pass in the 4th quarter to up the lead to 55-7.

Really Wales was still in in the 4th with them up 48-7, with JJ out are they trying get him caught up? If has been rested due to an injury why risk him late in a game that was completely in hand?

Nothing like the JJ issue. Wales only carried the ball 14 times for 137. It was the first play of the 4th when he caught the TD pass. He only carried the ball 3 times

last week and then was taken out. My question is why does he not touch the ball more than he does. Looking at the KHSAA website, he only carries the ball maybe 20 times....if that. Scroggins must know what he is doing.
