Frankfort 49 Dayton 0

I was refering to 2 seeds and beyond. If you want to use Frankfort, lets use Beechwood. Enough said BUB!! How many state championships have come from that district. And, as long as these districts are paired up I dont see them getting pass the regional semi-final.

Wow you guys are getting all bent out of shape. I was not bashing your team at all. I was simply stating the defense looked good, but may be vulnerable if teams can throw. So teams like Dayton and Bellevue who are run heavy will struggle. However, Beechwood is just so good up front they'll be fine, plus they are so good with play-action that they should hit some homeruns. As far as offense Frankfort is just not the team from past few years. Good Luck, but it's a tough road to get to Western when you have to go thru Beechwood and then if lucky enough to do that Mayfield. Bellevue will probably be a dog fight.

I don't disagree with your assessment of last night game.

They don't throw the ball well. Really never have in the last 8 years.

O-line did stink it up last night. There was a make shift o-line due to other reasons. But still should have played better.

Fumble snaps had to do with playing a different center. But still no reason for it.

Defense has carried this team all year. Partly because we have a great DC and also because we have a ton of youth on offense.

One reason the Wide out was wide open because one -dimensional Dayton called a pass play at the right time.

You are correct as it relates to the teams penalties.

CoachBuckett that is one heck of a post. That post is why I have all the respect in the world for you and root for Frankfort to do well. Very honest, classy and unbiased reply. You didn't jump to the negative like many would have. When you can look at your own team with an honest eye, you have a great chance to get better every week. Keep up the good work!! :thumb:

Nobody is bent out of shape over anything. Just disagreeing and having some fun. It's all good and your post is totally true. :thumb:

I agree VOR! Coach Buckett always calls it the way he sees it. :thumb:

^ thanks. You are right no need to try to sell you guys wolf tickets. To many of you guys know football!

It sounds like not much has changed for Frankfort. Not a very good passing team but has some size and a bunch of athletes. I am sure they are focused in on the Bellevue Tigers and what it will take to win that game. The Frankfort/Bellevue game was a great game a few years ago, hopefully that will repeat itself this Friday.

As for Dayton....there is a ton of work that needs to be done up there. 1-20 over the past 2 season. That is a 5% winning percentage. I don't see much of that changing over the next couple of years. It will be awhile before Dayton gets over the 5 wins in a season mark.
