Twitter Talk: Celebrity Retweet or Replies

Featured Replies

I know many will think its kinda lame, and it probably is but its fun to joke around with my friends on what celebrities or "talking heads" have either responded or retweeted something we posted.

Last night I had Matthew Berry, ESPN fantasy football analyst, respond to something I said.

Anyone else have any?

Dick Vitale-we were talking about Randy Moss though

Darius Miller-I talked a little trash to him about Duke and he retweeted it so BBN could attack me. It was all in fun and we both shared a laugh about BBN blowing up my twitter. I have nothing but love for Darius.

Tyrin Turner-played Cain in the movie Menace II Society-we have ongoing discussions about the Lakers and Heat-he's a big Heat fan

Tweets that got no response.

I sent tweets to Barnhardt about the state of the football program, I asked Jim Irsay if he would draft Andrew Luck, I sent some motivational tweets to Ndamakong Suh this week about Tebow(Tebow kept calling him inflammatory names and I was telling Suh what Tebow was saying), I unfollowed John Wall and told him why I was after a buddy of mine had a rude encounter with him.

That's all I can think of now. I am sure I have more. I normally don't hold my tongue for anyone besides my wife.

John Wall RT'd me once, which then got RT'd by Patterson and Bledsoe. Antonio Cromartie actually wrote back to me. Michael Oher is following me. My roommates get responses from Steven Jackson, Lou Williams, Jonathon Stewart, and Mike Goodson quite often. That's all I can think of specifically right now. I enjoy the challenge of trying to tweet something interesting enough to get a response from someone whose Twitter is constantly being blown up by thousands of people.

Why is Oher following you?

Heck if I know. I sent him a funny tweet once and he started following me. Has ever since.

Mostly NFL and college players. A couple comedians. I

Also some UFC and NASCAR drivers. Last year Cedric Benson sent me a privhate message which was pretty cool.

PurplePride92 of Bluegrasspreps.com fame talks to me all the time on there. :D

I've also talked with several other people, though not as famous as PP92. These are people who I can remember that have retweeted or responded:

Matthew Berry, Jason Grey, Eric Karabell, Tristan Cockcroft, Buster Olney, Stephania Bell (actually traded DM's with her a few times), Jason Isbell, Justin Townes Earle, Amanda Shires, Neko Case, and several of the writers who cover the Florida Marlins.

I once had Kornheiser read a funny email I sent when he had his ESPN Radio gig.

E-mail and radio are for old crotchety men. :D

That's why I like TK. Crotchety.

Are you sure it wasn't a fax Clyde?

Well played.

Typed from my IPad, holmes.

That's right!

Are you sure it wasn't a fax Clyde?

He then saved it on a floppy disk.
