Fantasy Football Advice: Week 9

Featured Replies

I've enjoyed these random discussions from week to week, whether people are talking about lineup advice, trade talks, or just random fantasy football comments. So, someone start us off, if there isn't much discussion by this afternoon I will post a question I'm debating in my money league (still undefeated, won by .2 points this past week).

I need two WR's and a FLEX.

Deion Branch @ Giants

David Nelson @ Jets

Darrius Heyward-Bey @ DEN

Julio Jones @ IND

Marshawn Lynch @ Dal

Jackie Battle @ MIA

I'm already starting Dwayne Bowe as my third WR.

Also, I'm putting serious thought into benching Phillip Rivers (@ GB) and starting Matt Hasselbeck (@ Cin).

Jackie Battle - I'm debating on starting him as my flex this week and will probably post one later with him in it.

Julio Jones - I think he's going to be healthy enough to get it done.

Deion Branch

That's pretty much what I am leaning toward, at least early in this week.

Yeah, I am debating on starting Battle in one league and waiting to see if I should start Jones in my other. We will see.

Rivers is going to be the guy that plays like crap until you bench him... I can already see that.

Can't believe Rivers hasn't turned it around yet.

No way I'd stick it out at least this week. GB D allows 80 more pass yards a game than Cincy.

The nice thing about my team is that I have options. That bad thing, I can easily leave points on the bench.

I'm definitely starting...

Matt Forte @ Philly

Fred Jackson vs. NYJ

Dez Bryant vs. SEA

But, pick two and one has to be a WR...

Jackie Battle vs. MIA - Not sure what you are going to get from him each week, although he gets the load of the carries and looks solid last night.

Chris Johnson vs CIN - So hard to bench your #1 overall pick. But the Bengals D has been tough, and well he hasn't done much anyway.

Anquan Boldin @ PIT - He's been on fire these last two games. But that just means he's do for a rough performance.

Brandon Marshall @ KC - Brandon Flowers has been a beast lately, so I'm sure he'll matchup on Marshall.

What do ya'll think? Give me two...one has to be a WR.

Benson. Tennessee is one of the wost teams in the league vs the Rush.

Pick one:

Cedric Benson @ TEN

Shonn Greene @ BUF

Both should have pretty fresh legs.

My ESPN league definitely disagrees with me when it comes to their projections, but I say Benson. Got a gut feeling he might have his best game so far this year.

Benson vs. 26th ranked rush defense

Greene vs. 19th ranked rush defense

Benson. Tennessee is one of the wost teams in the league vs the Rush.

Benson is terrible though....:idunno:

Greene has been nothing but a giant disappointment for me. I'm probably going to start Battle over him this week.
