With Russell County knocking off Knox Central, it forced one of the few three-way ties in the state.

 

Based on my calculations....

 

Rockcastle County currently has 18 points (Perry County - 7; Frankfort - 5; Pulaski County - 3; Whitley County - 3). They play 4-5 Montgomery County next week and could replace a 3 with a 4.

 

Russell County currently has 14 points (South Laurel - 5; Whitley, Pulaski, North Laurel, and Letcher County all have three. They can count three of the four. No score on North Laurel/Lincoln from tonight. They play 4-5 Adair County next week and could replace a 3 with a four.

 

Knox Central played a pathetic non-district schedule that included three Tennessee teams and have 7 points (Gatlinburg Pittman 4; West Jessamine - 1; Lancaster Chrisitian - 1; Clay County - 1; Clinton, Tenn. 0. They are at Madison Central next week and could jump into second with an upset and some help.

 

Should nothing change, Knox Central would go to Boyle County in the first round. Clay County goes to LexCath, Marion County visits Rockcastle County; and Russell County hosts Mercer County
