Eminence 54 Bracken County 24

Featured Replies

Final from Brooksville last night. Thought this game would be closer and it was for a half, but too much #6 and #7 for Eminence. Could anyone tell me more about these two players? Two of the best have seen this season. Anyone have the stats for these two from this game? #7 seemed like he had 300+ all purpose yards and #6 is a Division 1 prospect no doubt. Rigg and McClain impressed for BC, both quick. Rigg hits the holes like he is shot out of a cannon. BC's defensive back field was burnt all night, seemed to be keying on #6 running instead of passing.

Emminence stays in the ranks of the unbeaten. Congrats on the win. Despite this final score, this is another game showing the huge improvement in Bracken County this season. The Polar Bears need to just keep listening to their coach and keep working hard.

Congrats to eminence on the W. Polar Bears will keep plugging away. This has still been by far the best season in school history.

I completely agree.

Thanks

Bracken is much improved and look good the first half. Eminence score opening drive second half and then forced a turnover. Things changed quickly at that point Bracken runs Qb counter well. Their o-line has made the most improvement.

Couldn't agree more. Bracken was driving late in the 2nd quarter & then McClain threw a pick that ended up being the turning point in the game. Eminence scores to start the 3rd & then gets an onside kick recovery & scores again.

Bracken actually looks like a football team when they're out there. Impressed with Connor Rigg. Kid hits the holes and runs hard. Also impressed with #11 (I think one of the Houston boys) and his receiving capabilities. McClain is a tremendous athlete & I actually thought was under-utilized last night.

At the end of the day, Eminence was just better. Had more variety to their offense & as All In stated, they threw the ball deep and often. Easy to see why they're undefeated.

Coach Buckett, do you know much about the two players from Eminence that I have spoken about, #6 and #7?

Foree is #6 - is a Sophmore. Very talented kid. IMO best player on the team. Broke his hand against Trimble (1st game) Very hard nosed tough to tackle.

Mitchell is #7 - great set of hands. Really understands how to use the field and his body to catch the football. Difficult to defend every down.

With Foree having a broken hand it has limited what Eminence can do on Offense. Not being able to go under center limits the looks they can give you.

How does Frankfort compare to them, as well as Bracken next week? I thought both Foree and Mitchell were Juniors. Do you remember the real good player Eminence had a few years ago that walked on at UK? His name escapes me. Thanks for answering my questions, should have PM'd you.

His name was Banta..

As for Frankfort. Last night was the first time they had a full roster since week 4. They played like the old Frankfort. IMO I think Frankfort has more weapons than Both Eminence and Bracken.

Now if FHS can play with the same Tempo and excitement the next two weeks I think they can win the district.

Don't know the Banta you are talking about, but found out it is Ed Berry,he's a soph WR at UK,don't know if he walked on or was recruited. Do you remember him at Eminence?
