Just curious, but what's with the JH/HHS comparison? They won't play this year, so I'm wondering why that would even be brought in to the discussion on this thread.

 

Just more high school football analysis. John Hardin is a common opponent of Boyle and LexCath and UK fball fan inquired about how LexCath stacks up against Highlands and was curious how Highlands stacks up against John Hardin alsosince most Boyle fans have seen LexCath and Highlands now. Seeing as how there is a chance Highlands may end up seeing Boyle or LexCath the day after Thanksgiving I think it is a good discussion to have. I wish I had gone to the John Hardin game to have more insight.

I'll go on record as saying I like their chances. The defense has proven to be fine and is getting better every game. The schedule is set up for Casey Whittle and his receivers to get on the same page and go into the playoffs on a roll. The offense and the line should be a more confident and cohesive unit by week 1 of the playoffs. I'd also like to see Casey and Jarrod Harrington develop better chemistry. Despite Jarrod's miss the other night at the end of the game he has the most dependable hands on team. I am almost certain he has less than 5-7 drops for his entire career. He has the ability to be a playmaker but we aren't getting the ball in his hands to make plays.

 

We are at midseason and I think we are headed in the right direction. I'm ready.

I'd just be interested in hearing what a team that has played both think. Most Highlands fans seem to think that outside of Trinity, noone in the state could compete with them, regardless of class, so, it would be interesting to me to hear what others think that have actually seen both play 1st hand.

I don't think John Hardin can beat Highlands. I think John Hardin may be able to play with Highlands 5 times out of 10....if they're lucky. The Bluebirds are just that good.... based on what I've seen on tv.

To each his own. I love the interaction with Highlands fans. They have much reason to be proud. This thread has been here and quite honestly I want to know where all of the Boyle and LexCath fans went to. This used to be a good game to talk about. Looks like there are only a few of us left.

 

This website is by far the best website on high school sports and is the best forum website I have ever been on. All of the others lack the maturity, grammar and sophistication of this website. Anything goes on those websites and this one is controlled very well. Even when threads get hijacked the moderators close the thread if it becomes a problem. I hate to see you go but if you'd rather settle for less on other websites that are openly jealous of this one then have at it. A lot these people are a part of my everyday life. I love BGP.
